The lyrics of "Vipusessa käynti" are from the national epic "Kalevala". The journey of the sorcerer Väinämöinen to the belly of giant Vipunen is told by the barytone, and the choir sings Vipunen's spell for expulsion of Väinämöinen. The clear and emotional singing and playing well displays the humor in the work, and the other four enjoyable works in the recording portray a capable composer.
