In August 2012, the Polytech Choir performs in Richard Wagner's Tristan and Isolde opera, which is brought to Helsinki Festival by Esa-Pekka Salonen. He is joined by an impressive roster of soloists, including Violeta Urmana, Gary Lehman and Matti Salminen. Salonen debuts in the Helsinki Music Centre by conducting the Polytech Choir and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
